Starlink Installation Project in Bury.

Here we have a Starlink Installation Project for a client in Bury that lived in a remote area with some serious Internet issues.

Here at Home Network Solutions we are here to help with all aspects of Internet issues including the remote location problems as in this case where the customer was virtually off grid Internet wise.

The client was trying to live with a 3mbs connection from BT who had no intention of upgrading due to the costs involved, Virgin was a no go and the mobile providers were offering nothing stable.

He initially contacted us for some advice on what to do as he needed to get a reliable connection as offered the opportunity to work from, we discussed the options and recommended Starlink as a viable solution to his problems.

Customer ordered the starlink from Starlink website @ www.starlink.com along with the Ethernet adapter to make the system more versatile. The Starlink arrived within a week and an arrangement made with us for an installation date.

We installed the Starlink on a Gable end using a galvanised wall bracket and alloy mast to ensure a secure mounting without any rust marks on the wall, the cable was routed into the lounge with a brush socket. The Starlink was up and running within 30 mins and speeds of 230 mbs coming in so a very happy customer.

The client needed some help with setting up a simple Mesh network which he had ordered from Amazon we recommend the TP Link x55 which have excellent coverage and WI-FI 6 which the current Starlink router isn't, we set all 3 nodes up creating a wireless mesh network as internally only plasterboard walls and not such a large property now with excellent speeds all round.
