This client of ours had just moved into this property and needed a stable connection to the internet for work as runs a home based company and being online was a big part of his plan.
The problem with this property was it was an old rural barn building and remote regarding BT with speeds of about 5mbs from the copper connection with no improvement offered in the foreseeable future, Virgin was not routed to the property and the mobile network choice no good either. He had contacted us for some advice and discussed Starlink and its reliability and at the point he subsequently oredered the system and booked an installation in with us.
We arrived and assessed the best location for Starlink dish which needed to be on the front due to the tall trees at the back, the dish was fitted up on a lashing kit on the false chimney stack out of the way with cable routed down to the lounge.
The customer was buying a mesh system recommend by us the TP Link X55 which will allow full coverage around the property.
