Starlink Installation Project in Wilmslow.
Here at Home Network Solutions we do more than just Networking issues due to the amount of problems with BT and other providers Starlink is here to help you get true and reliable broadband speeds.
The Project here was for a client here in Wilmslow that was pretty remote and relatively off grid when it comes to reliable Internet connectivity, BT was on copper and producing approx 5mbs of speed, there was no Virgin and mobile networks couldn't supply a stable connection so something had to change. Customer contacted us regarding Starlink as he had heard all about it from a neighbour, we reassured them that was the way forward and they subsequently ordered the kit. We arranged an installation of the Starlink equipment and fitted the dish up on a gable end with cable fed down and into the office room, the pole was alloy and a galvanised bracket was used to ensure longevity. The system was up and running with speeds of 230 mbs coming through so now avery happy client.
So what is Starlink
WORLD'S MOST ADVANCED BROADBAND SATELLITE INTERNET
Starlink is the world's first and largest satellite constellation using a low Earth orbit to deliver broadband internet capable of supporting streaming, online gaming, video calls and more.
Leveraging advanced satellites and user hardware coupled with our deep experience with both spacecraft and on-orbit operations, Starlink delivers high-speed, low-latency internet to users all over the world.
HOW STARLINK WORKS
Most satellite internet services come from single geostationary satellites that orbit the planet at 35,786 km. As a result, the round trip data time between the user and satellite—also known as latency—is high, making it nearly impossible to support streaming, online gaming, video calls or other high data rate activities.
Starlink is a constellation of thousands of satellites that orbit the planet much closer to Earth, at about 550km, and cover the entire globe. Because Starlink satellites are in a low orbit, latency is significantly lower—around 25 ms vs 600+ ms.

As you can see Starlink is a clever bit of kit but has some challenges regarding installation in the UK due to thick stone walls and line of site issues so that's where a professional installation is usually needed here are a couple of examples of our installations.
