Starlink Installation Project in Hindley.
Here we have an Installation of Starlink in Hindley for a professional couple who had not long moved into the area and ran two online businesses from home but had hit a roadblock with regards to their Internet.
The offering was a 6mbs connection off BT over copper which was no good, no Virgin was available and the mobile network options was about as reliable as BT.
Customer had been recommended to us and had heard about the Starlink Internet options and needed a bit more reassurance that it was a viable option for permanent Internet solution. After a discussion the client to the plunge and ordered the Starlink kit direct from www.starlink.com and we also advised to order the Tp Link X55 as part of the installation was to make sure internet coverage was around the whole property.
The kit duly arrived within a week and we arrived to install, the house was surrounded by trees and the only location was up on a chimney, the cable was routed down to the lounge room and fed into there which is where the router was set up speeds were coming in at 220mbs.
The second part of the installation was to set up a backhauled mesh network using the X55 due to the large property and also the sensitive nature of the clients work they wanted both offices hard wired over Cat 6 with sockets and then the mesh nodes set up in those rooms.
The house now was covered in hard wired mesh network with virtually 200 mbs around the whole property.
